Eight days to lift off

We plan to depart for the race start in Lake Havasu, Arizona early morning Thursday June 14. It will take us roughly 18 hours of flying to get there, and we have to arrive by the deadline of noon on Saturday June 16, so we aren't giving ourselves much of a time margin. The other PA race teams are leaving two or three days earlier than us so they can make their way there in a more leisurely fashion and account for weather, but we will only get there in time by flying hard and straight through whatever weather we find. So we have eight days left to get organized.
